Here is the first berries from this years strawberrycrop in our kitchengarden. They are sweet and fantastic!

First off, I LOVE THESE SOCKS!!!

Pattern: Army inspired socks
Yarn: Knitpicks essential in the colorway ash and a little green sisu leftover for the bands.
Needles: 2,5 mm harmony wood
Modifications: I did a plain flapheel instead of a shortrow heel.

On my needles now
Another shawl… I am really in a shawl mode these days.

Army inspired socks

Miss Beezy

And the ever so nowheregoing Revontouli shawl…

Another shawl off the needles.
The yarn is a wool/celluloseblend I got off ebay a while ago, but I actually think there is some acrylig in there too because the yarn was really squeeky on the needles.
No pattern this time either, and as for my last shawl this will go into my “for sale” bin too

More shopping stuff, I placed and order at Alysse Creations for a spinners control card and some glitz fibers. Superfast shipping, because I had it in my mail 3 days after my order!

And I got a small sample of Banana silk! I have never ever heard of it, but I really like the feel of it.

And I am in sort of a shock, waking up to the news that Michael Jackson no longer is with us because of a heartattack.
He has a very special place in popmusic and I think everyone has heard about him in one way or another.
RIP MJ.

I placed an order over at Dawning dreams some days ago and this is what I bought. I just have to really recommend this seller very much, great communication, fast shipping and the items was carefully packed! take a look at all the great stuff over there!!!
And look at the supercute stamp that was stamped on my package!!! I thought it was so adorable I just had to take a pic!

Shawl pin

rubbery stitchmarker rings

and an orificehook for my spinning wheel.

The orificehook has a very good feel and lays properly in my hand while in use.

And just for you curious minds that wonder how I can spin while I have a cast (that has to be held high when I sit) on my leg… her is the pic taken of me just doing that

I have also tried spinning cocoonyarn, and I am happy to say that it was much easier than I thought! I still have some issues with balance in a singleply yarn, but I think I am starting to get the hang of it now.
The fiber used here is Masham (blue) and Colonial (purple). The yarn is sportweight and 68.5 yards

I also got some new needles and stuff from Getknitted.
