Our son is beeing christened this sunday, so lots of time goes into getting the house into shape for the party after the christening at our local church. I have tons of things to do and lots of cakes to bake… At least I dont have to stress with getting a christening gown. This one I sewed before my daughters christening a little over 3 years ago. I am very happy with it and I hope it will become kind of a tradition for children in our family to wear in the future when they are to be christened. I have embroidered my daughters full name and her christening date in the lining, and will do the same with my sons name and date. The fabric is satin crepe and is lined with a polyester lining.

Nydelig kjole !!! Lykke til i helgen
How very sweet!
What a lovely Christening gown and a wonderful tradition. My grandmother from Norway (Gjovik) made the Baptism dress my mother wore, then I wore it, then my daughter, then all 3 of her girls! We are very honored to have this tradition in our family. Blessings to you and your family on this special day.
Så nydelig, helt enkel og fin. Lykke til på søndagen da.
